seth beaver sublette

Seth Beaver – Sublette Ag Tech
Seth was raised in and around the Plains area. He has always been interested in farming and has worked on a farm when he became of age. We became aware of his interest in the AG Tech training from one of our customers in the Plains area. Our customer spoke very highly of Seth. I can see where Seth has obtained his interest in Diesel Tech, from his grandfather Dave Beaver. Dave was the Diesel Instructor for many years at the Southwest Vo Tech. We have been very pleased in the ability that Seth has shown, both during his internship here as well as his willingness to learn new things. His idle time, you most likely will find him hunting, fishing or just relaxing playing golf.

bryton coen e

Bryton Coen – Elkhart Ag Tech
Bryton grew up in Elkhart and farming has always been a part of his life, beginning with his great-grandparents and continues today with his own father. Bryton started working as our part-time shop hand in March of 2013. During that time he realized he was more interested in the technical side of agriculture rather than actual production side. Once Bryton graduated from Elkhart High School in May 2015, he began his Service Tech training at GCCC under the Ag Tech Program offered by John Deere. While there Bryton made the Dean’s list and honor roll. Bryton graduated the program with honor’s in May 2017. His future plans are to continue working for American Implement and at some point get married and raise a family here in Elkhart. Some of Bryton’s favorite hobbies are fixing up his pick-up, target shooting, mud truck racing and hanging out with his numerous family members and friends.

jesus parra gc

Jesus Parra – Garden City Ag Tech
Jesus Parra recently graduated GCCC John Deere Ag Tech with honors. He graduated with a stunning cumulative GPA of 3.819. Jesus will be receiving an American Implement Bonus of $500.00 for his outstanding efforts. Jesus became interested in the program because of his father working for a farmer in the community when he was young. Jesus also has a brother (Ramon Parra) that works as a Tech in Garden City that graduated from the Ag Tech Program in 2015. Their father has returned to Mexico to take over the family farm. Jesus returns to Mexico on vacation yearly to help his father and spend quality time. He has been around farming all his life and has a passion for working on harvest equipment. Some of the things Jesus enjoys doing with his time off is rebuilding old trucks, target shooting and taking care of the family. Jesus has set some personal goals of continuing his education through JDU and becoming a Master Tech.

Isaac Sanchez – Garden City Ag Tech
Isaac Sanchez has graduated from the GCCC Ag Tech Program with honors. He has held an outstanding cumulative GPA of 3.821. Because of his great efforts, he will be receiving a $500.00 bonus from American Implement. Isaac showed interest in the program in 2014, which was his Junior year of High School. He knew this was the career he wanted for himself at a young age. During his senior year, he continued to pursue his opportunities to gain a scholarship through American Implement. Garden City at that time did not have a spot to fill and he was afforded the opportunity to sign on with Ulysses. After completing one semester of his freshman year, he decided to transfer to the Garden City location and return home. He has always had a passion for repairing equipment. His father owns his own trucking company and Isaac has always helped his father with repairs and maintaining his trucks. Some of Isaac’s goals are to continue his career with American Implement and become a top-level tech. Not only has Isaac been blessed with a mechanical ability, he is also a drummer in a local band. He loves to play gigs on as many weekends as possible.

david tucke leoti

David Tucke – Leoti Ag Tech
David went to school in Leoti and worked during the summer for a local farmer. While operating the equipment, David decided he wanted to learn to work on it also. He approached us at American Implement and we thought he would be a good Ag Tech Program student. David worked for us the summer before he started school. During that time, we were building a new shop and space was scarce. David was tasked with mowing and keeping the lot cleaned up. Although David was discouraged he was not working on equipment he stuck with it. Once the building was almost completed David assembled, labeled and installed all of our special tools in the tool room and did a top-notch job. David is close to his family and likes to do family activities in his spare time. We are looking forward to working with David.

Thanks go out to our Location Managers, Service Managers and Service Admins for sharing a little about these graduates. Again, we are very proud of them all and excited to watch them thrive as Service Technicians at American Implement. We ❤ our people and their willingness to make a difference!
