A BIG addition and the FUTURE of American Implement!

Mar. 20 2025 News By Kelley Baker

We are proud to announce the completion of the American Implement Training Center at our Garden City dealership. This facility represents a significant step forward in professional development for the agricultural sector, providing vital training resources for local farmers and agricultural professionals. Continuous learning is essential in agriculture, and this new center underscores our commitment to supporting the community and enhancing operational efficiency. Join our CEO, Chad Koster, and our Marketing Director, Kelley Baker, on a tour of the brand-new American Implement Training Center. One of, if not, the biggest additions to American Implement!

This facility will host technical, parts, precision agriculture, sales/product, industry and personal development training for American Implement’s approximate 400 employees. American Implement has been active in John Deere’s Certified Dealer Instructor (CDI) Program for the past five years which enables them to redeliver John Deere University (JDU) curriculum. By the end of February, approximately 90 classes were delivered with over 500 students participating through American Implement’s CDI program. Several American Implement University (AIU) classes are being developed for additional topics or processes not delivered through JDU including product training on other manufacturers that American Implement represents. The new Training Center will allow these programs to continue to grow.

American Implement’s Training Center is a state-of-the-art 15,000 square-foot facility that includes a large conference space for larger meetings and clinics, two dedicated classrooms, and a large shop/lab space. Adjacent to the building is approximately 60 acres of farm ground available for ride and drive activities, field trials, and demonstrations.

Chad Koster, American Implement CEO, believes, “The main purpose behind this facility is two-fold. First, we believe we represent the best products, so we want our customer service through our employees to be at that same level, which requires extensive training. Second, is investing in our employees for them to grow and build a meaningful and fulfilling career within American Implement.”

“This will allow us to create and execute real-time, applicable training across all the departments to meet the demands of how fast-paced the changes in the agricultural industry, specifically the agricultural equipment industry, have happened and will continue to happen,” stated Britt Sellard, American Implement Development Specialist.
