The John Deere 2025 S7 Combine take the phrase, “Working smarter, not harder,” to a whole new level. The added automation, comfort, ease of access, efficiency, technology, and visibility on these machines is impressive and industry leading.

Efficiency:

The S7 Series features four different models; the S7 600, S7 700, S7 800, and S7 900 with the smaller two models housing the John Deere PowerTech^TM9.0L engine and the larger two models are powered by the PowerTech^TM13.6L engine, ranging in rated horsepower (hp) from 334 to 543. Don’t forget about the additional power boost available of 34 hp for the S7 600 – S7 800 and 50 hp for the S7 900. These engines are more fuel efficient than the S700’s and the 13.6L produces its maximum rated hp at lower engine RPM’s while cranking out 10% more torque.

Premium PowerCast^TMResidue System conserves up to 15 hp while fanning residue out to 45 feet after being chopped by mechanically driven straight blade knives.

When it is time to unload, the optional cross auger shutoff ensures a full unload everytime, reduces effort when engaging the auger as well as reducing weight within the auger between unloads, lowering the chances of potential sheer pin breakages. Paired with the from the cab adjustable auger spout, unloading has never been easier or more efficient.

Automation:

Further efficiencies come with automation. Available in both the Premium and Ultimate Technology License Packages, Harvest Setting Automations allow various parameters such as acceptable grain loss (measured by the improved grain loss sensors on the cleaning shoe), foreign material, and broken grain to be inputted, then the combine will AUTOMATE settings such as rotor and fan speeds as well as concave, chaffer, and sieve clearances to change accordingly to meet the set parameters. Capitalizing on Harvest Setting Automation potentially can gain the producer up to 20% in productivity, measured in tons of crop per acre harvested.

Maximize crop feed rates by allowing your ground speed to adjust proactively to crop conditions utilizing Predictive Ground Speed Automation. Combining the technology of pre-harvest satellite imagery of the field and two forward facing cab-mounted cameras, a predictive yield map is created enabling on-the-go, AUTOMATED ground speed adjustments to keep feeding crop material at an optimal rate!

Technology:

The most advanced guidance and automation technologies are all bundled into the G5 Advanced Package; AutoPath, AutoTrac^TM Turn Automation, Machine Sync, In-Field Data Sharing, and Combine Auto Unload. Utilizing the from the factory, integrated StarFire 7500, these are the pieces to revving up productivity and efficiency during the harvest season.

G5^PLUS CommandCenter^TM Display offers the brightest and clearest picture of any of the John Deere displays yet as well as the fastest processing time. A larger, newly designed primary corner post display and extended monitor ensures you won’t miss anything.

Comfort and Visibility:

The S7 not only got a make-over on the exterior with new styling, but also a cab make-over! The 2025 S7’s now share the same, roomy cab as the X9 combines. Three different comfort packages (Select, Premium, and Ultimate) are available as well as two different suspension options making features such as a leather, heated/vented/massaging seat, auto-cinching door, foot pegs, refrigerator and touchscreen radio and ActiveSeat^TM available for an unparalleled operator experience!
